Sung Kang Baa Sung was established on December, 2022, in Kaleo in the Upper West Region of Ghana, born out of a clear need to respond to the poor performance of basic school pupils in the BECE and the growing challenges faced by young people.
The initiative began with a simple vision: to empower children and youth to unlock their potential and build brighter futures.
What started as a small community effort has grown into an active organization reaching over 400 young people across northern Ghana.
Through sensitization programs, mentorship sessions, school quizzes, environmental campaigns like Clean and Green Kaleo, and skills training under the Catch Them Young Initiative, Sung Kang Baa Sung continues to create opportunities for learning, growth, and empowerment.
Education and Extra Classes, Technology and IT Skills Development, Entrepreneurship and Skills Training, Agriculture, Culture and Talent Development, and Community Outreach.
From patching torn uniforms in rural schools, guiding parents on child upbringing, to offering hands-on training in areas like CCTV installation and soap making, our work reflects a commitment to both academic and practical development.
Though still young, Sung Kang Baa Sung has already built a foundation of impact through partnerships, innovative programs, and grassroots engagement.
